WDPP Nikolskoe

In the 3rd quarter of 2013 a wind-diesel complex was commissioned in the township of Nikolskoe (Kamchatka Krai, Bering Island). WDF’s composition:
– Two wind mills: 275kW each
– Specialized diesel-generator: 292kW
– Electro boiler: 890kW

Main wind mill characteristics

Installed capacity: 2x275kW
Tower’s height: 55m
Wind turbine caliber: 30m
Cut-in-wind speed: 3.5 m/s
W maximum speed: 25 m/s
Survival speed: 42.5 m/s
Manufacturer: Vergnet (France)

The effective coupling of the wind mill’s connection system with the diesel generation and central heating systems of the township will reduce diesel supplied energy by more than 50%.

Expected annual production of WDPP is 1 500 thousand kW. Payback time – 10.7 years. Expected service life is more than 20 years. User WDPP OAO YUESK
